Income Generating Programs and Agricultural Activities  
 

Training & Support – from 1997 Till 2002 

·        Chocolate, Sweet Dry Fruits, Dry Fruits and Vegetables, Rose and Flower Water, Olive Oil Soap, Jams and Pickles Production.

Raw material and moulds purchase, production and packaging training and marketing.

 


Training & Support - from 2002 till 2005 

·        Kiwi Projects in Qlaya’a (South) and Miryata (North).

Purchased equipments (trellis, irrigation system, mixers, and transplants) and trained farmers on best agricultural practices.

·        Artichoke Projects in Taybeh and Majidieh (South), Qoubayat, Deir Nbouh and Fieh (North).

Purchased equipments (Irrigation system, mixers, and transplants) and trained  farmers on best agricultural practices.

·        Olive Oil  training on proper field management and marketing techniques

·        Awareness workshops for farmers in the North and South on major  agricultural practices covering the following topics: Reduce Cost of Production, Labeling,  Packaging and Grading (Banana, Citrus Fruits, Avocado, Potatoes and Vegetables) 

Training & Support – from 2002 till Present  

·        Beekeeping Project purchased hives, honey extractor, bee suits, smokers, frame lifters and scrapers, trained women on proper raising and honey collection of beehives and packaging in Berqayel and Jdeidat (Akkar).

INMA’s Health Service Center includes:  

·        Health Clinic: Kefraya (Koura) covering the following specialities: Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Pediatrics, and General Health.

·        Dental Clinic at Kefraya (Koura).

·        Medical Laboratory at Kefraya (Koura).

·        Health Awareness and Vaccination Programs in Koura & Batroun Public Schools.

Tourism Brochures, Site Rehabilitation and Maps – from 2002 till 2005  

·        Design, Collection of Data, Production and Distribution of “Promenade” Brochures in the major Lebanese cities and over 300 villages.

·        The Archeological Touristic maps (Saida – Tyre – Baalbeck – Tripoli – Beiteddine – Batroun – Aanjar – Roman Temples of the Beqaa Valley – Byblos – Echmoun – Enfe & the Abbey of Balamand – Deir el Qalaa & the Aqueduct of Zubaida – Qadisha Valley)

·        Lebanon’s Nature Reserve maps (Al-Shouf Cedar – Bentael – Horsh Ehden – Palm Islands – Tannourine Cedars Forest – Tyre Coast)

·        Enhancement and Rehabilitation Projects in the 6 Nature Reserves  

FROM 2005 TILL 2007 

·        Develop an interactive National Road Map product.

·        Develop a Tourism & Visitors Information Center in Beirut.

·        Develop Promotion Kits for each North Qadda’a (Caza) that includes the following lists: General History of highlighted Villages to visit and sites to see, Discover Lebanon Tours, Itinerary Routes, Typical Cuisine and Handicrafts of the area, Accommodation and Festival lists.

·        Enhancement and Rehabilitation Projects in selected Archeological sites in the North
